My Why
Since my days in University, taking long walks around the neighborhoods of the South Hill of Spokane, WA, I have had a strong pull to the story of a home and the people that dwell within. The architecture, the interior design, the landscaping, the potential. The way someone is drawn to a certain home, but not to another. The potential for a home to change the lives of those that dwell within, and the potential for the people that dwell within to impact the life of that home. The stories of the clients I serve, watching them connect with a property, and seeing the lives of both client and home transform through a purchase or sale. This is what makes me love what I do.
My Education
I attended University at EWU, in Cheney, WA and hold a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications with a minor in Business Administration. Post University, I relocated back to the Seattle area and became employed with a Commericial Real Estate and Development firm, and a love for Real Estate was sparked. During a temporary period of residence on Bainbridge Island in 2017, walking the neighborhoods, and falling in love with the homes and stories, I finally decided to make the leap. I began my career as a full-time Realtor in March of 2108 and haven't looked back. I hold specialty designations in Buyer and Seller Representation, as an Accredited Buyer Representative and Seller Representation Specialist. In addition to those credentials, I complete many hours of coursework every year that help me to serve my clients' needs better.
Working together.
In a world where one has many choices of whom to work with as a Realtor, my clients appreciate the level of personalized service and care which I provide. I walk alongside you in your purchase or sale, calmly guiding, advising, negotiating on your behalf, advocating for your best interests, with experience, integrity, empathy and humor.
When listing your home, I prepare a comprehensive market analysis that helps pinpoint the most appropriate pricing for the current market. I will incorporate a multi-faceted marketing plan that will include professional photography, videography, print materials as well as Social Media advertising. I will provide as-needed professional staging and staging advice as well as recommendations for professional house cleaners, landscapers, and contractors to help your home truly *shine* prior to your scheduled photography session. We will go over the pros and cons of setting a review date or reviewing offers as received. I will confirm any excluded/included items, and discuss the pros and cons of having a home inspection prior to listing your home. When you receive an offer (or multiple) on your home, I will review the offer(s) with you and help explain the positives and negatives of each as well as help you formulate any counteroffer you wish to respond with. From Listing Agreement to Offer Acceptance to Closing, I will be there to educate, guide, advise, negotiate and advocate for your best interests.
As a Buyer's Agent, my job is to find out as much as possible about your "why", your lifestyle and hobbies, who will be living in the home and who might be visiting, as well as if you have any pets to take into consideration. I will ask if you are purchasing with cash or financing, and if you need any lender recommendations. We will discuss your desired timeline for your purchase and preferred closing and move-in timeframe. I will ask you to show me examples of home styles you are drawn to, and whether you are open to fixer homes or if you prefer turn-key move-in ready homes. You will let me know if you want a lawn or garden, or if you would like to steer clear of yard work altogether. I'll ask if you have your heart set on in-town living where amenities are nearby or if you are leaning towards being outside city limits with more land and privacy. I want to know as much as possible, so I can find you the best matches when we start looking at homes. If you are shopping from a distance, I will provide virtual tours, and I will pay great attention to details of a home that may be of concern, pointing out the more positive attributes of the homes as well. I will provide recommendations for Inspectors, and contractors as requested. When you find a home you would like to offer on, I will walk through the offer process, strategy, contingencies, and will look at market comparables to see what like homes have sold for. I will learn about any Seller wants/needs that could make your offer stand out in a crowd. I will help you put your best foot forward in multiple offer situations, and help to keep as much money in your pocket as possible. Always, your best interest will be at the forefront of my mind. I will never try to sell you on a home, but rather will listen to your feedback and adjust search criteria accordingly, until we have found the perfect match.
I will learn about you. I will help educate you on forms, process and strategy. I will walk beside you at the same time as guiding you through the entire transaction, advocating for your best interests at every step. This is how I work. This is the personalized support you can expect, from the moment we commit to working together, to the day of closing, and beyond. My goal is to be your Realtor for life, as well as a friend and resource for the every day.

I see your choice in home and place, as a critical element in creating the life you want to be living. Buying a home is about so much more than where to invest your money, and how many bedrooms and baths you would like, or if the roof has been updated or not. It's about how you want to start and end your day, your daily habits and routines, if you are more of a sunset or sunrise person, if you want people nearby or you are happier with your space, and how well you tolerate certain types of weather? Do you have any hobbies such as sailing, fishing, quilting, tennis or even flying? Do you need land for your pups to run? Do you need rental income?
These are all important factors to consider.
The more personal enjoyment we can accommodate, with the location and attributes of you new home, the better your overall satisfaction in life will hopefully be.
When you begin your search as a Buyer, sometimes you aren't exactly sure what it is that you are looking for.. I would encourage you to keep an open mind about some things, and hold fast to others. Many people come to the area with a very specific plan in mind, but find that the prices or selection of homes are not what they expected.
Often times we end up finding the right home in an area just outside of where you originally thought to search. As a full time and long time resident here, I have awareness of areas that can offer you exactly what you are looking for, that maybe you are not yet aware of or haven't considered. Every property you see will help us both understand your needs and wants a little bit better, and might also introduce you to new ideas that take you in a little bit different direction.
I take great care in matching you to the right property, even if it ends up being a bit outside of where you originally thought you would land. I have helped clients find a waterfront home as far away as Shelton, WA, and also in Langley, on Whidbey Island. I helped another client relocate to San Juan Island, when they were initially looking on the Olympic Peninsula. I invest time and energy into my clients, and I want to be with you the entire way, whenever possible. I try my best to not refer you on to another Realtor, and will search in all areas where I am familiar. I understand how exhausting it can be to get to know someone, tell them your story, and then have to do it over again, and over again with a new Realtor in each location. It's very easy for some people, and for other personalities, it's just the worst. I will try my very best to give you an excellent experience!

When I work with new clients, it's extremely important that we have a good rapport. This is an incredibly significant event in your life, and it can mean spending a lot of time together. I need to know how you prefer to communicate and what times are off limits, and you need to feel comfortable talking to me. I want to help you find home for the life you want to be living right now, but I want to create a professional relationship and hopefully friendship that lasts well into the future.
